Precognitive Dreams Pt.1

Have you ever wondered about having this particular dream where something happened that later on happened in real life? Like, what is it trying to tell you? When it happens in reality, it takes you at least a few seconds before you realise that it has happened before in your dream.

Now, I've had one of these precognitive dreams before. I was as young as 11 or 12 years of age. My dream was about this dark place that looked unfamiliar. When I woke up, the image of the dream wasn't vivid anymore, but enough for me to remember.

Let's call my home country A and the country where I live now is B. So when I was in A and have never left the country, I had that precognitive dream. I wasn't into the internet back in those days, so I just brushed the dream off like it's one of those weird dreams you get that don't really mean a thing. But a year later, I moved to B. So one afternoon at my primary school, the desks were pushed to the side and back to get space in the front. The curtains were shut as we were going to watch something on the board (with the projector, if that makes sense). I decided to sit on a chair, which was placed in the left side of the room next to the windows, while everyone was organising the thing we were going to watch. I looked to my right and that was when it hit me.

This happened before. I was surprised, like, I sat still for a few seconds, you know, taking it all in. My dream was a precognitive dream. I had a dream of something that was going to happen to me later on in the future. It was amazing. I decided to keep it to myself. A few years later, as I am more aware of the internet stuff now, I searched it all up. "I had a dream that later on happened in real life," or something like that. Explained.

But after all this thinking, it leads back to my interest in time travel. How could I have a dream of the future, like other people have experienced? Surely, my brain isn't a time traveler, but it's enough to catch my attention.

If you've read my previous post about John Titor, I mention this anime called Steins;Gate which is based on Titor. In the anime show, whenever the protagonist uses the time machine, he was the only one who remembers what happened in the world line he jumped from while everyone else thought differently about something that happened before he time traveled. But for those people who didn't travel in time, what happened in the other world line, the one where the protagonist came from, is nothing but a dream to them. They just brush it off, since you know, it's just a dream anyway. But for them it felt real even though it didn't happen in their reality at all, or their world line.

What I'm trying to say is that precognitive dreams are probably caused by someone who traveled through time. This is pretty interesting stuff, right? I got nothing to prove this yet, it's just what I think about precognitive dreams in relation to time travel, but I'll come back to this topic when I get more information to support this. Or anything about precognitive dreams.

I need to do more research on this.

blog title and chaneller

Okay so this is just a short post about the title of the blog and why my name is chaneller. It's supposed to be channeler, but since "this username is already taken" you know why I chose to be chaneller instead. I know, lame :v

My next post will be about precognitive dreams.

And for Tumblr users out there, how does that blog site even work? I got an account which I ditched since I don't understand how to post stuff and how the site works in general. :v

John Titor Pt.1

For those of you who haven't heard of the name John Titor, he was popular in the Internet back in 2000 after claiming that he was a time traveler from 2036. He suddenly stopped posting in 2001. I found out that it was because he was going to return back to his real time, which is the future of course. Some people say it's a brilliant hoax, while there are people like me who are still looking into him for more information as it is a possible that he's real!

He has a website of his own, and I've read some of his posts on it, mostly the answers he gave to some people's questions. I have never heard about him till I've watched the anime called Steins;Gate. I've always been interested in time travel and such, and after finishing the anime show I researched the name Jon Titor. There we go, I found out about him. Like, you know, after watching an anime you wouldn't expect it to have a real person, usually. So when I searched Titor's name, he caught my attention instantly. I looked into articles about him, about his first and last posts. Later on I found out that there's a Titor in 1998 and another one who claimed to be John back in 2000. I looked deeper into that, the 1998 Titor is more believable. He sent a fax to Art Bell, who has this radio show called Coast to Coast AM (correct me if I'm wrong, can't remember it well now as I've stopped researching for now). Titor asked for Mr Bell to talk about him on the radio, which he did. There's a video of it on YouTube and it's really long so I only listened to the first 3 minutes. :P He asked for Bell not to include his number if he was going to publish Titor's fax to the public. Bell did announce the fax to the public, not including Titor's number as he asked.

The 2000 Titor, however, I think is another person. I'm not the only one who thinks so. And this is because he might have found out about 1998 Titor, and was intelligent enough to pick up what he said and expanded the story. Some people, from my research, said that what 1998 and 2000 Titors explained about the time machine or time traveling are different. I still have to look further into that. The second Titor, the 2000 one, showed a drawn image of his time machine. And since I am on Reddit, there's a post of the time machine in r/JohnTitor saying that he found Titor's machine. Looks believable enough as there's this video on YouTube which shows "John" using his time machine and it looks like the one in the post on Reddit.

Some people say that the ones behind the John Titor Foundation, the Heber brothers, were the ones who probably have created the website johntitor.com. This was supported with the skills of the Heber's - one was an entertainment engineer and the other a computer expert. Now, what I think about this is that they are, perhaps, are as interested in Titor as much as us. The Foundation was established a couple of years after the johntitor.com website. The Foundation, apparently, wrote a book about John Titor the Time Traveler and was published. And that it's really expensive. I found a forum talking about why the book has to be overpriced, and that leads me back into thinking that the Heber brothers created the johntitor.com website after the faxes that Art Bell received. It all might have planned, as well. Art Bell might have wanted to promote his radio show. The Heber brothers might have picked up the faxes. And whoever the 2000 Titor is wanted to fool the internet. Which, I would say, worked really well.

But I'm still not convinced. There's this thing about world lines. John explained it in his website, pretty sure, but I didn't bother to read. Watching Steins;Gate helped me enough to understand how world lines work. And that's what makes me think that 2000 Titor is not the 1998 one, but another Titor. The 2000 Titor made predictions, most did not occur but some predictions did happen which made some people believe in him. I think the prediction was about this show called XFiles and I'm not really interested in that so I didn't look further into it. Anyway, world lines work like the butterfly effect. Titor predicted that there would be a civil war in America in 2005, and that there would be a nuclear war by 2015. And guess what the year is now! They obviously didn't happen. And this might have been caused by Titor time traveling to another world line - our world line. In his world line, these wars took place, in our one it's bullshit. A joke. Some people laughed about that. But I'm thinking our world line is different to the one Titor came from. From my research a while ago, some people said the same thing. And that Titor said that other Titor's will time travel for different purposes. Which might have been why 1998 and 2000 Titor are different.

I know this isn't finished, I'll post Pt.2 next time I'm bothered to write a post about this. But please do leave a comment about your opinion on Titor! He's interesting enough, usually I'm not convinced by such things but this topic made me research and look deeper into the subject.

Introduction

Hello there! I thought I should make a blog where I can write about what I'm interested in and learning/researching about, which are:

- time travel
- different dimensions / world lines
- dreams
- our mind and memories

I probably won't be active much, but I'll try my best! I hope to meet some people who have questions about these topics like me, and would love to talk to people about them! :)

As for my name, which is chaneller, it's my username on Reddit. I literally joined that website for a number of reasons, but mainly for r/timetravel and r/JohnTitor :)
